El mercadillo “del Jueves” como se le conoce, es el
mercadillo al aire libre más antiguo de Sevilla, tan antiguo que se desconoce
su origen. Un rastrillo interesante para buscar pequeños tesoros y ideal para
coleccionistas (de lo que sea). El ambiente del mercadillo llena de vida las
mañanas de jueves en este barrio.
The "Thursday market" as it is known, is Seville's
oldest outdoor market, so old that its origin is unknown. Interesting yard sale

Puedes disfrutar de él todos los jueves del año por la
mañana, de 7:00 a 15 aproximadamente. El Jueves, día que se encuentra en
mitad de la semana, divide la ciudad en dos: antigüedades y mamarrachadas. Y os
preguntaréis ¿Dónde? Pues bien, está Ubicado en la calle Feria y discurre por
el barrio al que esta calle da nombre. Aunque antiguamente era un mercado de
todo tipo de productos, ahora es un mercado de antigüedades y objetos de
segunda mano reciclados o recogidos en los contenedores. Como éste quedan
pocos. Nada de tenderetes de bragas ni camisetas ordinarias.

mercadillo se extiende además por las plazas de Montesión y Maldonados que es
donde se encuentra el personal más selecto del mercado: Los anticuarios.

Mientras
antes llegues mejor, pues habrá más oportunidades de encontrar algo que merezca
la pena ya que estarán todos los puestos recién abiertos y aquí, el que no

el regateo.
En
él, Se pueden encontrar antigüedades y objetos de segunda mano de lo más
diverso; monedas, relojes de muñecas, libros, muebles, juguetes del siglo
pasado, ropa usada, zapatos, pequeñas joyas, mantones antiguos, ¡y hasta trajes
de flamenca!

pararte. Esas excusas se llaman bares. Empezando por el Vizcaíno y acabando en
el mercado de abastos de la calle Feria, donde os recomiendo 100% que paréis.

matter if you go to buy something or not, the atmosphere and colorful of a
market like this make it worthwhile. And yes, for those of us who live in this
area, the market “del Jueves” is a special event and also an excuse to be
there. Those excuses are called bars. Starting at Vizcaino and finishing at the

final de la mañana y si has ido con la cámara llevarás además de las fotos unos
cuantos tesoros más. Seguro que algún libro con los márgenes escritos te ha
seducido, o ese objeto inútil y absurdo que por menos de un euro no te has
resistido a dejar en el suelo.
