En el centro de Oporto, en una de sus míticas calles se encuentran estos apartamentos, inspirados en los vinos de Oporto. Ubicación 10, decoración 10, trato 10.. 100% recomendable.
In the heart of this city are located this lovely and cosy apartments. They are inspired by porto and argentine wines. Its locations, decoration, the treathment received during the stay was absolutly perfect! I would recommend this apartment 100%.

Ribeira
La ribera es la zona de más ambiente de Oporto. Está repleta de restaurantes Bares y las vistas son inmejorables, aunque no te recomiendo comer en esta zona porque está orientada más que nada a extranjeros. Es un agradable paseo con vistas a Gaia, donde podemos ver todas las bodegas famosas de Oporto o el Puente Luis I. Las fotos hablan por sí mismas.
The Riverside is the most turistic place, It is full of restaurants and bars. The views are georgeus but I wouldn´t recommed this place to eat because is very touristic. It is basically a nice promenade with views over the Gaia and its famous wineries, as well as Luis I bridge. The pictures speak from themselves!

Sobre el río Douro, este puente une Oporto con Vila Nova de Gaia, mide 45 metros de altura, casi 400 de longitud y tiene dos pisos. por el de arriba sólo pueden transitar personas y un tranvía, en ambas partes hay carriles habilitados para peatones, no podéis dejar de pasar por este puente. Las vistas son inmejorables, y es una de las imágenes más típicas de la ciudad.

Telesférico de Gaia
El telesférico conecta la salida del puente Luis I con Gaia, la zona donde se encuentran todas las bodegas en Oporto. Puedes ir caminando hacia ellas, pero por 2,50 euros merece la pena no perderse el paseo y las vistas de Oporto desde las alturas!
The cable car connects Luis I bridge with Vila nova de Gaia. If you want, you can walk down from the bridge towards the wineries but I would recommend using the cable car. It only costs 2,50 euros so is worth it.

Vila Nova de Gaia y Bodegas | Ferreira
Lo mejor de esta zona, que se encuentra al otro lado del río Douro son las vistas que nos ofrece de Oporto. Desde la otra banda de la rivera podemos contemplar toda la ciudad, sus colores, sus monumentos, es una visita obligatoria.

Por otro lado si eres fan de los vinos de Oporto o te gustaría visitar algunas de sus bodegas, Ferreira fué nuestra elección. En la visita guiada por estas inmensas bodegas te explican todo acerca del vino de Oporto, su proceso de elaboración , su historia y una pequeña degustación al final.
On the other hand if you are a Port Wine fan, you should visit the wineries. Our choice Ferreira. The tour was really good. They explain the production process, the history and you will be able to try the port wine at the end of the sesion.

Podéis leer más acerca de este Paseo en el anterior post! es un sitio perfecto para relajarse en el césped y ver la puesta de sol mientras te tomas un botellín de cerveza y un vasito de altramuces, muy típico de aquí.

Esta librería se encuentra en el centro de Oporto, en Rua das Carmelitas. Ha sido catalogada como una de las librerías más bonitas del mundo, así lo pensó JK. Rowing ( Autora de Harry Potter) cuando la vió por primera vez. Tanto es así que no dudó en tomarla como referente para sus libros. Se dice que la biblioteca de Howarts está inspirada en ella. Su entrada son 3 euros.
This library is located in the center of the city, on Carmelitas street. The library has been classified as one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. JK Rowling thought the same when she saw the library for the first time. She used it like a reference for her books. It is said that Howarts library was inspired by Lello Book. The entry fee is 3 euros.
Matosinhos
Fuimos a esta zona de Oporto a comer, se encuentra a unos 15 minutos del centro en autobús o tranvía, y es famosa por ser el área con más bares por metro cuadrado que hay en esta ciudad. Especialidad mariscos y pescado fresco (ya hablamos de esto en el anterior post). Pero aparte del interés gastronómico es una bonita zona para pasear y porqué no disfrutar de un soleado día de playa!
We went to this area of Oporto to have lunch. It is 15 minutes by car from the city center. you can take the 500 bus as well. this area is famous for having lots of bars. Its speciality seafood and fresh fish.(we were talking about that in the previous post). Apart from this, it is a beautiful place to go walking, or enjoy a summer day on the beach!
